Customers often ask us how we can possibly move their furniture when Excel cleans their carpet or tile.  While some furniture can be cumbersome to a one or even two person carpet cleaning crew, we can move most furniture with relative ease.  Most living room furniture is simply slid out from its original position, cleaned under, replaced and legs blocked or tabbed for protection.  Heavier or weaker items may need to have sliders placed underneath the legs to allow ease of movement.  Some items, such as china cabinets, curios, will need to be emptied by the client before we move them.  Rarely, there are items even we cannot move while cleaning carpet.  Such items include King beds, large dressers or armours, and some sectional sofas/pit groups.  Excel offers a discounted empty room rate for carpet cleaning if you move the furniture out of the room before we arrive!  If you have any questions before your carpet cleaning appointment, feel free to call the experts at Excel for any questions.
